Ecology Center and the
City of Ann Arbor to Host Third
Huron River Renaissance Clean Up

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- July 26, 2005

The Ecology Center and the City of Ann Arbor invite people to participate in the third of the Huron River Renaissance Clean Up events, which will take place on Saturday, August 6th from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. This will be the last clean-up of the summer sponsored by the Ecology Center. Adult volunteers are invited to canoe and pick up litter at Gallup Pond. Free canoe lessons, gear, t-shirts, and lunch will be provided.

Volunteers should report to the Gallup Canoe Livery, near the intersection of Huron Parkway and Fuller Road, and should enter through the north entrance off Fuller Rd.

Registration is required and spaces are limited. Call (734) 995-5888 ext 115 with questions and for registration. This event is jointly sponsored by the Ecology Center and the City of Ann Arbor.
