Testing for Toxics at the Tu B'Shevat Celebration

Join the Jewish Cultural Society, the Ecology Center, and other environmental non-profits in celebrating Tu B'Shevat (the New Year for the Trees)!

Have you wondered if your children's products, pet toys, and everyday household items contain toxic chemicals like lead, cadmium, or mercury? Here's your chance to find out! We will have an XRF testing device available, which immediately detects toxic heavy metals in consumer products. Please bring in any items and Ecology Center staff will test them for free.
