The Summit is an annual event where we bring together our community of people interested in building a more sustainable, just and diverse local food system in the Greater Washtenaw County area of Michigan.
Over the course of a day, we will hear from the people interested in making our food system better in every way!
Our guest speaker is Leah Penninman, author of "Farming While Black"!
We'll have breakout groups, youth programming, and a wonderful lunch of local food prespared by local chefs and cooks
The Local Food Summit is organized every year by a group. of volunteers who care about the ecosystem that is local food. We want to make our event welcoming and we really want new people to join us every year!
Note: All Ticket Levels offer the same access to the summit including breakfast, lunch, and snacks. We ask that you please contribute as much as you are able, so that everyone who wants to attend the summit is able to do so! Thanks for supporting an accessible Local Food Summit 2020!
