In celebration of our 50th Anniversary, the Ecology Center is excited to be participating in the 58th Ann Arbor Film Festival as a community partner. We are sponsoring the Films in Competition 3 screening playing on Wednesday, March 25th which features The Lake and the Lake (Kere mattu Kere) a film from India about a polluted lake in Bangalore, India's Silicon Valley.

The Ecology Center has a long history of working with activists in India fighting chemical contamination including residents of Bhopal India, home of the worst industrial disaster in history. We helped link Midland and Bhopal activists after Union Carbide was purchased by Dow Chemical.

The Ann Arbor Film Festival is the longest-running independent and experimental film festival in North America. The 58th AAFF takes place March 24 - 29 2020 at the Michigan Theater in downtown Ann Arbor and presents over 200 films, videos and performances from more than 20 countries with dozens of U.S., N.
