Yuki Nakayama

Environmental Storyteller Fellowship 2025

Yuki joined as the Winter 2025 Environmental Science Storyteller under the Rackham Doctoral Internship Program at the University of Michigan. She is a Ph.D. candidate specializing in Japanese media in the department of Film, Television, and Media. Currently, she is writing her dissertation on the history of variety programs in Japan. Yuki has been a regular visitor to the Ecology Center’s website and has relied on it to learn about environmental issues, so she is excited to be part of the team that makes that information accessible to the public.
